Touring season returns

"Load her up, boys!"
The last two weeks marked the beginning of the summer touring season for me.  Here in Canada, only crazies and lifers venture out on the highways during winter, and on the west coast we have two major mountain ranges to cross- the Coastal/Cascade range and the Rocky Mountains.  So far this year I have logged about 1600 kms, slept on two couches, two floors and, somewhat miraculously, two beds.
I thrive on the intensity of hard touring and the "one shot to get across" pressure of one-nighters.  My next post will provide a synopsis of two different trips I took back to back over the last two weeks, so I can share the madness with you, dear reader.
