Prinny, six years in- update!

Just a little post to remind those readers in the Vancouver area that Sandybone and I are celebrating our sixth year anniversary of hosting the End of the Line Jam at the Princeton Pub (1901 Powell St.), on Tuesday, June 19th!  Who'da' thunk it?

We will be supplying full backline and inviting some or our friends' bands to play that evening, so it'll be a little less of a jam and more of a performance evening.  Of course, we always try to get all the musicians across the stage one way or other!

Big thanks are owed to Dave Webb (pianist/organist extraordinaire) who has kindly lent us a piano for use at the jam, and we look forward to seeing some of our pianist friends joining us in the coming months.

Also, we are working toward having a permanent house bass amp in place, soon, so we can free our bass player pals from relying on the PA.

We hope these little improvements will help us maintain the upward trajectory of our session, opening up new musical opportunities, and making the evening even more entertaining.

Thanks again to everyone who's attended, danced, played, drank, smoked, shot stick and shared your most excellent vibes- it would be the end of the line without you!

A press release from Sandybone:

SandyBone & Double D are celebrating 6 years of great music and helaciously fun times hosting arguably one of Vancouver's best jams at the venerable Princeton Pub. Every Tuesday a stellar array of talent graces our stage playing everything roots oriented: from blues, to country, from rockabilly to folk, from old time classics to cutting edge originals -all can be heard on any given night at this classic old time Canadian tavern down by the dockyards where the trains are always running. The attendance is testament to the fact that live music is alive and well as folks of all ages (over 18) and of all walks of life come out for good music and good times -just like it ever was. See you at "The Prinny"!
