Univox Pro Verb U3R Spring Reverb Unit in Van Nuys CA for $75
I am a fan of Solid State Spring Reverb - the way I figure it, if you are playing through a tube amp and the Reverb is going in the front it really doesn't make a difference if it is tube or not (a Fender Twin's tube driven reverb runs off the phase inverter so it is after the pre-amp and before the output transformer).
These Univox Pro Verbs were made in Japan in the late 60's/early 70's and they have two input channels with seperate levels and a depth control. They sound good until they get too noisy and this one is apparently still quiet so you are in luck.
Surf purists will cringe but I have a little Teisco made solid state spring reverb that I love because it is very trashy and garage rock sounding - similar to the Cardboard Danelectro units they put in the Silvertone 1484's. It is a great little unit and it was very cheap.
Personally, the best Reverb I ever heard was an Orban rack mount spring unit and it was solid state. Tube units are great if you are trying to replicate Vintage Surf Guitar sounds but these other units can be very useful for a variety of tones as well. Purists will just have to cringe.

Fender Stage Lead Ii Solid State Combo In Hollywood For $100
I am not recommending we all rush out and buy Fender 1980's solid state amps. However, that said, this is a good deal on a big powerful and well reviewed SS Amp. The Stage Lead II's came out in 1985-86 and these are big heavy (80 lbs) LOUD stage...

Alamo Jet Tube Combo In San Diego For $100
This is the later hybrid version of the Alamo Jet. Note that it does not have the two 12AX7 tubes on the right side of the chassis. The preamp and Reverb are solid state and it has a 5y3 rectifier and a 6V6gt power tube. The Carvin Ceramic Speaker will...

Silvertone 1484 Twin Twelve Head In Columbus Oh For $300
This 1484 head has been modified but it looks like it might be some really good quality work - I think he may be confused about the Bias and 18 watts - unless it's been converted to a 6V6 head instead of a dual 6L6 - of course that would be easily...

Lafayette Or Univox 50 Watt Tube Stack In Altadena Ca For $300
This appears to be a Univox 1221 with different cosmetics so it may be a Lafayette. It sounds like this one may need tubes - probably a pair of 7591 in the output sections. But these were never as Loud as they were advertised (Univox claimed 100 watts...
