Lafayette or Univox 50 Watt Tube Stack in Altadena CA for $300
This appears to be a Univox 1221 with different cosmetics so it may be a Lafayette. It sounds like this one may need tubes - probably a pair of 7591 in the output sections. But these were never as Loud as they were advertised (Univox claimed 100 watts but that's impossible).

Univox Pro Verb U3r Spring Reverb Unit In Van Nuys Ca For $75
I am a fan of Solid State Spring Reverb - the way I figure it, if you are playing through a tube amp and the Reverb is going in the front it really doesn't make a difference if it is tube or not (a Fender Twin's tube driven reverb runs off the...

Carvin X60 Tube Combo Amp In La Area For $200
Carvin is a very old and well established USA amp maker based in California. The X60 has a good reputation - nice clean channel and excellent spring reverb and a very useable overdrive channel. Make sure you get the footswitch with it. This amp would...

Lafayette 2x12 Tube Combo In Burlingame Nj For $80
The seller is not including any tubes with this amp but he says it works fine. If I am correct this amp should use a pair of 6973 power tubes and two 12Ax7 and a 6CA4 and a 6AU6 - these Lafayette amps get mixed reviews - some guys love 'em and others...

1965 Univox U-48b In Vermont For $150
As you can probably tell, I am a fan of these old Univox amps - and this simple little 112 tube combo is right up there with the best of them. The 6BM8 is a Japanese variation on 6V and I'd put the output of this more realistically at about 12...
