of course I keep reading and searching and drawing so I have more sketches - and that's fortunate because my mind is now setting itself on something more radical - esthetically and ergonomically, as you can see...

Time to go back to guitar sketches after all the Doppelcaster frenzy... (actually I never stopped drawing but lately I find the scanning process tremendously boring... chacun sa névrose !)...

You might have noticed that in my last sketches I'm been busy with beveled designs. Unless it's deliberate - like for the minimal telecaster - I realize that I don't like so much plank guitars, but I'm not into arch-top either - so beveling...

- Using Traditional Tuners For Headless Designs
A post on this blog contains some nice sketches of headless guitars with traditional tuners mounted behind the bridge. Some designs even had holes through the body for the tuners. That looked good, but it might be difficult to get a good hold of the tuners...
