1967 Silvertone 1453 (Harmony H82 Rebel) in Memphis TN or $400

The Silvertone 1453 is less common than the Harmony Rebel model it is based on and it is a better find because it has regular Vol and Tone knobs vs the quaint (but annoying) sliders on the Rebel. It also has much better pickups - these "X-faced" DeArmonds are strong and bright and punchy - about 10K output vs the 7K of a DeArmond Mustache pup which gives them a more vicious biting howl like the Valco made Airlines of the same period. These poorly designed top-mount Trem bridges totally suck so forget about using the vibrato arm on these but they still hold a tuning.

- Silvertone 628 / Harmony H1200 In Memphis For $275
You don't see these guitars come up for sale very often. Produced for only a couple of years (1954-1958) the H-1200 is one of the nicest acoustic guitars to come out of the Harmony Chicago factory. A solid spruce top and solid maple body - beautiful...

- Silvertone Jet Glow Semi Hollow In Dagsboro De For $225
I can't say I know this model but this appears to be a Harmony Rebel without the dreaded slider Vol and Tone pots - that alone is pretty cool.   I would put this guitar somewhere circa 1967 - 1972 and it is USA made for sure.  Those...

- 1967 Silvertone 1480 In Seattle For $250
The seller must know his stuff (or knows how to google) because he realizes this is a 1480 rather than a model 1478.  Slightly less in demand but still a nice vintage USA guitar for not alot of money.  ******************************************...

- 1967 Silvertone 1480 Silhouette In Seattle Area For $300
I don't know if these colored pickups from Harmony/DeArmond sound as good as the Goldtones - maybe someone can fill us in. these versions always seem to sell for a litle less than the earlier models - maybe just because they are later and less vintage....

- Silvertone 60's Semi Hollow Guitar In D.c, Area For $275
Not sure if this guitar is worth $275 but it appears to be a variation on the Harmony Rebel (without the funky slider switches) - those should be Dearmond pickups but hard to tell. 1960'S SILVERTONE ELECTRIC HOLLOWBODY/WAMMY - $275 (COLLEGE PARK)...
