Yamaha Red label FG-75 in San Pedro CA for $135
With the current popularity of the OO and parlor-sized guitars you might want to consider these Yamaha's from the late 60's and early 70's. I thnk the FG-75 appeared around 1969 and these Nippon Gakki Red Label versions are the most desireable. That said, be aware that these are laminated top guitars so the age of the wood is not going to do much to improve the tone - luckily these usually sounded pretty good from the get go. Expect a nice playable guitar with a slightly thick neck and you won't be disappointed.
There was a time when these little Japanese acoustics could be found for $50 or less but that time is pretty much gone.

Yamaha FG-75, red label "Nippon Gakki." These guitars were made in Japan in the 60s and this one has an outstanding sound. It is not as large as a dreadnought size and has a very comfortable feel. Neck and body are in great shape for an almost fifty year-old guitar. Sorry no case.

1996 Yamaha Sa-15 Semi-hollow Electric In Nm For $450
This seller is offering a cool and fairly rare Yamaha from the very early days of that company. Think about what sort of guitars were coming out of Japan in 1966 and compare them to this nicely finished Yamaha. Interesting. It is styling like...

1975 Harmony H Acoustic In San Pedro For $100
Here's an interesting find. The Harmony H1239 is an "Auditorium size" acoustic similar to a Martin OOO-18 with a spruce top and Mahogany (I believe the Martin is Rosewood) back and sides. The necks are quite different though - don't expect Martin...

Surf Alert!! 1984 Yamaha Sc300t In Detroit Area For $120
Nice deal on a vintage Yamaha guitar - I 've played one of these and they have a good look, feel and tone for Surf. There is a higher end SGV model (SGV-500/700) that has better pickups and a bound neck but these are still nice Japanese made...

Lyra (teisco) Electric With Two Goldfoil Pickups In San Pedro Ca For $165
Here is another neat little Teisco with a Lyra badge - these "center screw" gold-foil pickups are the same type used by Ry Cooder (yeah I know hype hype hype) so you may like the tone for vintage sounding slide. Mostly just nice if you like these...
