Vintage Kalamazoo K-2 electric - Gibson made early 60's solidbody in Boston for $375

These fly way under the radar - Kalamazoo was basically Gibsons 2nd tier student brand but the components are all the same or similar to the Gibson parts of the same era.  For instance these would be original 60's Melody maker single coil pickups and that stop tailpiece should be the same ones that collectors pay hundreds for as replacement for the old Les Paul Jr.

Nobody seems to be collecting these guitars so you can still find them cheap - compare this price to a 1965 Fender Mustang -  amazing, isn't it?

- 1966 Epiphone Ft45 Cortez Acoustic In Kansas City For $500
This seller is offering a vintage USA Epiphone acoustic for $500.  These USA FT45 Cortez models fly under the radar because they can easily be confused with the Epiphone acoustic models that were made in Japan from 1967 onward - those MIJ models...

- 1966 Kalamazoo Kg-2a In Dallas For $300
You don't really see these Kalamazoo guitars out there on stage in the Indie or Alt music scene and I don't really understand why. Sure they have a "pressed wood" body but these are vintage USA made guitars from the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo...

- Kalamazoo Kg-2 In Milwaukee For $300
This is a nice looking Kalmazoo KG-2 probably circa 1965 for only $300.  Nice deal on a sort of Mustang-ish 2 pickup electric with real vintage mojo.  These are great for Indie players and artsy types (like me). ********************************...

- 1972 Gibson Sg-i (sg1) In Tampa Fl For $675
These SG-1's always fly well below-the-radar because they don't have the classic SG look - they almost look like Japanese copies - but of course they aren't.  It is a real USA Gibson made in Kalamazoo.  The mini-humbucker on...

- Kalamazoo K1 Vintage Electric Guitar Project In Detroit For $200
this is a bit of a project but nothing major. Needs a bridge and at least one of the tuning machines.  These use a bridge that looks just like a compensated Les Paul Jr. tailpiece.  I'm sure they can be readily found. Though if you want...
