Vintage & Rare guitar of the week: 1966 Guild S-50 Jet Star
guitarz.blogspot.com:
Here's another all-American vintage Guild guitar; it's a no-nonsense single pickup
Guild S-50 Jet Star from 1966. It has a subtle sunburst finish (red burst?), a Firebird-esque headstock and its single pickup is placed decidedly in the centre position - which, as I have argued before, actually makes very good sense tonally if you have to have just the one pickup on a guitar.
This is currently being offered for sale via
Vintage and Rare for a very reasonable €850.
