1960's Silvertone Jupiter w/ original case. Neither the guitar or case is mint, but both are very clean. Guitar has the Dearmond pickups and appears to be all original.
The guitar is an excellent player, and a very cool sounding guitar. The only issue is the bridge pickup has a minor ground problem. It doesn't hum or buzz, but makes a clicking noise when you touch the pickup.

1960's Danelecto U2 w/ case. The guitar is not collector quality as it has been refinished, the tuners replaced with repro Klusons, and the toggle switch upgraded to a Gibson style switch. The cover plate in the back has also been replaced with a pickguard material. But still a great player with killer tone..
Priced accordingly and for the price of a reissue, you can own the real deal.

Sounds like this 1457 was prbably a basket case - repaired headstock and non-original lipstick pickups by GFS - but you still get a "mostly vintage" 1963 Dano for only $200. At least this one has the real SIlvertone "hatchet" headstock not the new reissue...
