Here is a nice early Christmas present for a guitarist in the Chicago area - Silvertone 1423L aka Harmony Jupiter. Very desireable top of the line Stratotone circa 1963 as played by Spencer Davis and others (also early on by Brian Jones if I am not mistaken).
Nice bound neck on these with trapezoid MOP inlays and the "blend" knob.

vintage silvertone. gold-flecked body. crack in side, missing logo,(broke, fell off) it was the metal one you see on e-bay for 15 bucks. missing two control knobs, butotherwise, plays well. 325 obo. call 630-***-****, thanks

Hard to find these Jupiters anymore now that they've caught on - I am holding out for a Natural with brown knobs like the one Spencer Davis used with Steve Winwood but this black Silvertone will do the trick for someone. Note the original case!...

This seller has several nice looking guitars for sale - I asked him about the Silvertone Jupiter and he said he would consider $350 so he is open to a reasonable offer. I don't know what he wants for the L-37 or the LG-2 but it might be worth checking...
