Silvertone (by Kay) Speed Demon in College Station TX for $375

This mid 1960's Speed Demon is rather unusual in that it was branded a Silvertone and sold through Sears.  I've seen (and owned) a lot of these over the years and this one looks to be in very good condition - definitely all original.   These are not really great  rock guitars - they tend to feed back with gain at high volumes - but they are lovely and have a nice round sweet jazzy tone.  And they look great on the wall.

This is a fine, Vintage Guitar that has been in my family for a long time. I think my Brother bought it back in the mid 60's. It has been played very little. This kind of sat around for years waiting for people to pick it up and learn guitar, but my Brother never seemed to get into it. I have it now and have no need for it and I would rather see it go to a good home and get played than sit in a case in my closet. It has had a couple of minor repairs to the body over the years. There is a spot near the tail piece that has a rather amateur looking repair to the finish about the size of a silver dollar. There is also about a one inch piece of binding that has been replaced on the bottom front pointed bout that looks like it could be improved upon by a skilled craftsman. The electronics and all three pick-ups work fine and sound very good. Cash Only Please. Thanks

- Kay Speed Demon Triple In Des Moines For $350
Here is a Speed Demon Triple that should be in good shape since same owner for many years.  This is a good price for this model if it is in good shape and all the pickups and controls are working correctly. ********************************...

- Old Kraftsman Barney Kessel Triple In Cinicinatti (northern Ky) For $350
I just highlighted a Blonde Maple versions of this same guitar that was $500 and now here is a RED one with a Bigsby for only $350 - Cripes!  These are so cool looking and not a very common guitar.  The Old Kraftsman (i.e. Spiegel...

- Kay Semi-hollow Project Guitar In Nj For $75
This speed Demon single is only missing a pickup and pots and an output jack.  These are completely hollow guitars so it wouldn't be too hard to work on if you have some dexterity and patience.  I rewound two pickups and remounted them myself...

- 1963 Kay Truetone Speed Demon In Los Angeles For $450 Obo -
This is my Speed Demon - I am selling this a few other guitars right now. I am into this guitar for aa bit more than the selling price - but I've enjoyed it so it's no big deal. If I get $450 for it I will include a nice Coffin Case that fits...

- Silvertone 60's Semi Hollow Guitar In D.c, Area For $275
Not sure if this guitar is worth $275 but it appears to be a variation on the Harmony Rebel (without the funky slider switches) - those should be Dearmond pickups but hard to tell. 1960'S SILVERTONE ELECTRIC HOLLOWBODY/WAMMY - $275 (COLLEGE PARK)...
