Gibson 1959 Toggle Switch Nut - only $275 on eBay
This is why I will never be a "serious" guitar collector - this is not a joke. This eBay auction is for a single original vintage nut for the toggle switch on a 1959 Gibson - for $275! Not for the whole switch - just the nut!
While I understand the fact that an all original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top may indeed seel at some point for $300K to someone with money to burn... I sitill think many guitar collectors are either high on crack or are idiots - or both. Of course if I had a 1959 Les Paul and the only thing not orignal on it was the switch tip or the toggle nut... you never know what I minght do, huh?

1979 Gibson The Paul In Austin For $650
These area really nice Gibson guitars. I've played several (including a brand new 1979 back when I was in High School) and they are consistently good guitars. It is not all original, has Dimarzio SD pickups and Grover tuners, but that is what everyone...

1970's Guild M45 Bluesbird In Boise For $400
I don't know why the seller is describing this as a 1959 Guild - it is clerly an early 1970's Bluesbird. This is the M75GS meaning Gold Hardware - and it is most likely a 1973 because it has the phase switch (added in 1972) and the longer...
