Dynacord Cora
No more link to the selling site of this stunning Dynacord Cora - it was unsurprisingly sold very fast - there've been no more than 100 of these ever produced and it's a guitar collector's dream, when vintage surpasses once for all anything that followed in the next half century!
Dynacord is a major German audio company started in the 1950s, shortly teamed in the 1960s with Italian GEM (also using Schaller hardware and pickups) to produce a series of guitars including this quite unique Cora: a reduced wooden body in a double cutaway-shaped tubular frame.
It was short-lived - not sure if for technical flaws or excess of avant-gardism, but it's a mystery to me that such a perfect design was not explored further and made a standard!
And you know what? There was a black body model and it looked even better!

Cool Welson With Retrofit Dimarzio Pickups
guitarz.blogspot.com: This double cutaway asymmetric florentine semi-hollow-body Welson looks kinda cool - this is not a design you see everyday, even if it is not as radical as their inevitable very 1960s Italian solid bodies. This model - I couldn't...

The Jaguaro-bisonesque Antoria 993
guitarz.blogspot.com Here is a 1960s Antoria 993 that seems to combine the body of a Jaguar with the horns of a Bison (something that might interest also cryptozoologists, mythologists and readers of Jorge Luis Borges) for a unique feel. Antoria...

Musima Herrnsdorf Archtop
guitarz.blogspot.com Here is a good old DDR Musima-Herrnsdorf archtop. Herrnsdorf was another Markneukirchen-based instruments company started in the 19th century, turned electric in the 1950s - producing inevitably cool Schlaggitarren, mother-of-toilet-seat...

1960s Fasan Semi-hollowbody Three-pickup Electric Guitar - German Or Italian?
guitarz.blogspot.com: Here we have a 1960s vintage Fasan semi-hollowbody complete with vibrato, three pickups and a plethora of switches and controls. Fasan were a German manufacturer, but the seller of this example makes a big noise of that fact that...
