I've never played one of these 12 strings but I've tried the the Aria 6 string version with these pickups and it was pretty cool. Ya gotta admit this is a pretty cool looking guitar.

Really nice vintage guitar. bought it on ebay a couple years ago for a project that never got its feet off the ground. these conrad guitars were made in japan in the 60s other brands that were sold by the same Motsumoku factory at the same time are Aria and Lyle. all pretty similar guitars. neck is straight and very strong. cool vintage pickups. i have videos i can email if you are interested.

These guitars were very popular in the 1960's and appear under names like Ventura, Aria, Univox, Bruno and Lyle. They were all made at the same Matsumoku factory and they are all pretty much the same - the pickups usually being the main difference...
- 1969 Conrad Mij (epi Et-270) In Birmingham Al For $150
Here is another MIJ guitar most likely very from the Fuji-Gen factory that made the first Japanese Epiphones and early Ibanez electric guitars. This is just like the Epi 270 I listed a few days ago - though the pickups look more like the Ventura/Aria/Univox...

Here is a Conrad - same as a Univox, Aria or Ventura from the same era. Early Matsumoku factory guitar. I wouldn't expect too much from the pickups - but you never know. Sometimes these are nice bitey P90 type single coils...

Conrad Electric 12 string in LA area for $250
