This looks like a nice 1930's parlor guitar for fingerstyle or Blues playing. The seller, Joe, told me it is still available so you might want to check it out. Looks like the major issues have been already repaired and it should be a good player.

The thing to look for on these old parlor acoustics is solid woods like Mahogany, Spruce, Koa, Rosewood (Birch is okay too tho not as desireable) and glued on peg bridges (vs. seperate bridge and metal tailpiece). When you find one with those elements for a good price in decent condition and with playable action you've got a winner.

Columbia parlor guitar built in the mid 1930's. It's in nice condition and plays very well. All solid birch top, back, and sides. Ebony bridge with bone saddle and nut. New frets. There are a few age cracks on the top which have been professionally repaired. The cracks are barely noticeable. There are two small cracks on the back which are also well repaired. The original case is included. This guitar has great tone. If your looking for a good old blues guitar this is it.

- Aria Ap-std Parlor Acoustic W Solid Top In Fargo Nd For $95
This is not a vintage Aria it is a current model, however the style and tone are based on older 1930's parlor guitars so you may find it appealing especially if you play fingerstyle. This should be comparable to the Canadian made Cedar top parlor...

- Beautiful Antique Parlor Guitar In Dayton Oh For $95

- 1930's Supertone Standard Sized Guitar In Nelson Ne For $150
The seller is listing this as a Parlor Guitar but with 19 frets and a 14 inch lower bought this is more of a Standard. Looks like Mahogany but may be Birch. I wish I could get a better look at that Bridge. Looks too wide. It may be a replacement. **********************************...

- 1940 Era Harmony Or Regal Blues Parlor Guitar In Philly For $75
The seller seems to be right on the money about this guitar.  Likely a Harmony, Regal or Supertone and most likely from the late 1930's or early 1940's (I've had very similar models over the years).  This should have a nice...
