Bassix bizarre one-off foldable headless upright bass
guitarz.blogspot.com:
I think the photos say it all here! I've never seen anything quite like this allegedly unique
Bassix foldable headless upright bass before. It's actually quite a clever way of making an upright bass portable, however, looking at the bridge position I can't believe that is the usual 42" scale length you'd expect on an upright. It looks more like a bass guitar's 34". Which begs the question, why not just use a fretless bass which would be even more portable than this?
Currently listed on eBay UK with a £0.99 starting bid.

Could This Be The Earliest Production Model Acoustic Bass Guitar?
guitarz.blogspot.com: I have on this blog previously queried what might have been the earliest production model acoustic bass guitar. Surely this Regal Bassoguitar circa 1937 must take the prize, even if it does look as if it was designed to be played...

Moses Graphite 42" Scale Headless Vertical Jump Bass
guitarz.blogspot.com: From Moses Graphite, this is a strange one. The Moses Vertical Jump Bass straddles that indefinable area between bass guitar and electric upright bass. It is indeed designed to be played in a vertical position - I'm guessing...

Clevinger By Robert Lee Fretless Electric Bass
guitarz.blogspot.com: I suspect that this Clevinger by Robert Lee fretless bass was designed as a electric upright bass (EUB) - the name "Clevinger" is ringing bells in the back of my mind, but I can't remember any details as to why or who might have...

Yamaha Sb-1 Electric Upright Bass
guitarz.blogspot.com: Technically as an upright bass this Yamaha SB-1 electric upright bass (EUB) falls outside the remit of this guitar blog, but I do like to feature other stringed instruments on these pages from time to time, and to be perfectly honest,...

Now That's One Heck Of A Big Ol' Bass!
guitarz.blogspot.com: Pictured next to a Fender Jaguar Bass (which I believe has a 34" scale length), I'm guessing that this extremely long fretless electric bass is intended to be played as an upright. It probably wouldn't be great as a double...
