Aria CSB-450 Medium Scale Bass. . . . . .

Happy New Year!!!

It's been a little while since my last post, I've been busy over the
last few weeks.

This is a great piece of kit!!

I bought this, along with a few other medium scale basses, when
I had a problem with my left hand, a few years back.

Set neck, nice feel, quality build and a great sound.
This was gigged by a friend, just before Christmas and I was lucky
enough to be able to see it in action.
As I play what I have, I don't very often get to see and hear an
instrument, from an audience point of view.
Very pleased with it - a serious bass but more compact.

I had a 300, some years back - the 450 is the top of the range, in
the Cardinal series.

Top job!

I'll be back next time, with something else a little different.

Cheers. :)

- Greco Gob Ii 750, One Of The Best!
Well, it's time to do this one. I took this shot, quite a few years ago and was going  to feature this truly great bass, some time ago... but. .  I then had second thoughts. If I tell everyone how good they are, they will be harder...

- Ray Cooper Custom Bass. . . . . . . .
Right, time to get back on track! This is a cracking 32" scale, Firebird inspired bass, made in 1977, by Ray Cooper. Although this bass is now 37 years old, almost to the day, Ray is still involved in guitars and has a list of customers that...

- Peavey Fury Bass. . . . . .
Peavey Fury Bass - Nice! These are great basses - Full Stop! - For USA, read Period! :) I played one, "Yonks ago" and thought then how nice it was, a great combination of features. A familiar body shape, that is nice and light, familiar looking pick-ups,...

- Aria Tsb-650. . . . . . .
Time for more Aria. . . . . . I have been a bit busy, so I have not been keeping up with the blog as much as I would like to but as I said in the last post, I am hoping to do the Jaydee and it's original owner as a feature, so sit tight! Been and...

- On The Rails. . . . . . .
Westone Rail Bass. I have two of these fascinating basses, looked for ages to find one and then another one turned up, so I thought I would grab a spare. Medium scale, so you can whizz up and down the board with ease, if you are used to playing a 34"...
