Airline 1960's model 7214 Electric Guitar with tube amp in case in Livermore CA for $350

These 7214's are quite rare and while not quite a professional guitar the pickups sound great and if set up properly you can play the livin hell out of these.  The body on one of these is not deep but they are very resonant - sort of like a Melody maker.  And the Valco built case amps (with 6V6 power) kick the bejeezus out of the comparable Silvertone.  This is not a toy!

Nice little airline tube amp for a nice little sum.   This is the same as a Danelectro Cadet - Three tubes, about 5 watts, and a hot chassis (as in "bbbzzzzzzz") but these sound great when you crank them up and hit the front end hard...

- Airline 62-9013 15 Watt Tube Combo Amp In Detroit For $250
Regular readers of my blog know how I feel about this particular amp.  IMO if you had to choose only one non Fender-Marshall-Vox amp from the 1960's then it would be this Airline amp or it's similar Danelectro built cousin the Silvertone...

- Valco Made Montgomery Ward Tube Head In Sf Bay Area For $220
Uncommon but probably great sounding tube head in SF bay area.  Seller says 80 watts with four 6V6 but that sounds a little generous. More like 30-40 watts (think AC30 if tubes are in Class A not push-pull) - however there is a good chance this...

- Airline 7214 Amp In Case Guitar In Iowa For $250
Here is another seller being fairly direct and legit about this cool collectible guitar - these airline amp cases are solid wood and quite heavy - but I hear they sound as good or better than the Silvertone models from the same era (Valco vs Danelectro...

- Airline 62-9013a Tube Combo In San Antonio Tx For $300
I have one of these Danelectro made Airline 9013's and I can tell you - it is awesome!! It growls and grinds and hoots and howls like a the little bourbon soaked Chicago hussy she is... sweeeeet. Vintage Airline 1960's Tube Guitar Harmonica...
