1955 German Electric guitar in Witchita for $250 - Could be a hofner or Hoyer?
This could be an amazing deal -- this looks like a terrific little semi-hollow (with two pickups) from the fine guitar craftsmen of West Germany circa 1955. And he says it even comes with an amp (I am drooling in anticipation - what could the amp be?).
Note: Quite a few early and mid-century Gibson, Rickenbacker, Gretsch and Fender guitar builders were trained in West Germany. This guys Dad must have been in the service in Germany around the same time as Elvis.
