1943 harmony Singing Cowboys acoustic w/ case for $100 in San Francisco

This seller is offering a very nice looking H236 "Singing Cowboys" acoustic w case for only $100.  Great deal on a neat collectible guitar.  you can tell this model was made "during the war" because it has the wooden tailpiece harmony used for a brief time while all domestic steel production went towards the U.S. war effort.

I've seen quite a few examples of this model of stenciled guitar and this one looks as nice as any I've seen.

Note:  This model was Reissued by Harmony along with the Gretsch singing cowboy models but don't confuse this original vintage beauty with any of the reissue versions.

- Harmony H-162 Acoustic In Spokane Wa For $110
This seller is offering a vintage Harmony H-162 acoustic.  Regular readers of this blog know how I feel about my Harmony H-162.  This one looks to be in particularly nice shape - though it is one of the later versions without the nice tortoise...

- Harmony H-162 Acoustic In Detroit For $70
I expect most of my readers will be familiar with the Harmony H-162.  The seller posted a tiny photo of this one but it looks to have some minor cosmetic damage on the face (lower right) and the headstock logo looks to be for a late 1950's or...

- 1950's Harmony Monterey "colorama" Archtop Acoustic In Omaha Ne For $80
This seller is offering a neat Harmony Monterey archtop that appears to be a circa 1950 Colorama version. It is hard to tell from the photos but the stenciled logo and red musical note should make this an early 1950's model. The Monterey is a nice...

- Harmony 1941-45 Singing Cowboys Acoustic In Southbay Area Of La For $60
The ultimate wall hanger acoustic for a great price - these guitars never played all that well to begin with but they are very cool to have around and this one has a great looking stencil. The Wooden tailpiece clearly designates it as a WWII axe. **************************************...
