1940's Silvertone Concert sized Acoustic - in Minnesota for $175

I really LOVE the old Silvertone logo's on these 1940's guitars - and these flat top concert series guitars are much more rare than the F-hole versions. The seller is coerrect in calling this a KAY - the layout of the neck dots gives that away.

This is a 1940's Silvertone Jumbo guitar made by Kay. The guitar is all original and shows signs of usage with the only major scratch shown on the picture below. The action is a little high but is still playable. I am selling this to reduce my collection and you can check out my other ads on CL. Call me at 952-955-1460 for more details.
Thanks for your interest.

Silvertone/harmony H-165 Solid Mahogany Acoustic In Mariett Ga For $100
I don't know what the Silvertone model number was on these guitars but other than the different pickguard this is clearly an early 1960's Harmony H-165 acoustic.  A little darker in tone than their Spruce top cousins the H-162 these are still...

1960's Silvertone Acoustic In Logan Utah For $75
This full sized Silvertone acoustic looks to be in very nice condition. The arrangement of the dot markers on the neck makes me suspect this is a Kay built Silvertone. Should play nicely. I don't know where Logan Utah is but maybe you do. ****************...

Vintage 1930 (?) Silvertone Archtop Near Columbus Oh For $40
The seller is calling this a 1930 Silvertone archtop which I guess is posible but that would make it older than most Silvertones - I think Sears was selling a similar guitar line called "Supertone" prior to 1940 but you'd have to look that...

Silvertone Parlor Acoustic In Sacramento For $50
I hate calling these "parlor" guitars because they really are not. That should be reserved for the older Washburn and Stromberg-Voisinet guitars of the 20's and 30's - the shape is decidedly different. But it has recently become a common practice...
